If you want to eat at a chiringuito it is advisable to make reservations in advance. In high season they tend to be very crowded and eating without a reservation can be a real chimera. In some chiringuitos they only reserve until 13:30, guiri time, if you want to eat in Spanish time you will have to sign up in a list and wait for your time to come.

Chiringuito Paco is a family beach restaurant located in a privileged location in the center of Estepona, with an excellent view of the beach of La Rada. This picturesque restaurant offers a variety of traditional dishes with great cuisine and very good service. To put a but, perhaps we would have liked a few more smiles, but at the rate they go and with all the tables they serve, you can’t ask for much.

Chiringuito La Peseta
Mediterranean food. They have free wifi and smoking area. Take away service available. This place is known for its authenticity and rustic charm, due to the fact that it is one of the few that has not been renovated lately. Its location in the middle of the promenade makes it the ideal destination for a full day at the beach. Don’t miss their wide selection of fresh grilled fish, served with a generous side dish.

El Madero
Open every day from 11:00 to 23:00h. Mediterranean and Andalusian cuisine. Specializing in fish, seafood, rice dishes and, above all, sardine skewers. They have hammocks and wifi area to enjoy a full day at the beach in a family and relaxed atmosphere. Chiringuito highly recommended for service, quality and location.

Africa Beach
Varied menu, hammocks and lots of cocktails. It used to be a family-run chiringuito. Now that they are a beach club, it has lost a little of its essence. However, we were pleasantly surprised by their rice. It may seem like it’s only for tourists, but if you’re from around here, try it without fear.

Chiringuito Palm Beach
It is located at the western end of the Rada beach. It has good music and a large parking lot nearby to be within the town of Estepona. Good place to have a cocktail.

Chiringuito Tropical
Its location between the center and the port makes it almost always full, but to tell you the truth, if we compare it, in quality and especially in service with those of its surroundings, perhaps it is not the one that comes out best. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad option, it’s not bad at all, but it’s not our first recommendation. The service is not too fast, but you are always attended with kindness and sympathy.

Havana Beach
Music and mojitos in the middle of Cristo beach with acceptable food but not very glamorous for the prices they charge. We only recommend it if you are right next door and do not have the energy to go elsewhere, which would be the most sensible option.

Chiringuito Lolailo
If it is located in the exclusive Playa del Cristo beach, as it cannot be otherwise, you will be charged as a five star, when in quality it will never reach that level. Its specialty is Italian cuisine, but they also have all kinds of rice dishes, fish, homemade desserts … All this, seasoned with a good atmosphere that invites you to have fun. Chiringuito located on the beach of La Rada, in the center of Estepona. It offers all kinds of fish on the spit, paellas, salads, fried foods and meats. It also has the best variety of drinks and cocktails. Their sangria makes a difference in the area. It also has a hammock service to enjoy the beach in front of the beach. Touristy atmosphere, few esteponeros you will find inside.

Business clearly aimed at the Anglo-Saxon sector. Massages, cocktails and Balinese beds with food and atmosphere not recommended if you are looking for the typical Spanish beach bar. It is very well located and is a pleasant place to spend a day at the beach.

Chiringuito Paraíso del Mar
Excellent location between the port and the center of our town. It is the one that is open less months, if you do not go in high summer season you will almost certainly find it closed. Specializing in fish and skewers of all kinds. The rice is good, but without fanfare. Good service and the bill is not as expensive as others in the area.

Beachfront restaurant with snack, chill out area and great cocktail bar. Good cuisine and acceptable service in a pleasant and quiet environment. It has a hammock area outside the sand and live music on special occasions.

Torre Velerín
Chiringuito with solera in Estepona, is one of the few that gets the Esteponeros to take their car and move on purpose to enjoy its great cuisine, music and atmosphere. A few years ago they decided to stop serving generous portions and nowadays they serve less quantity for the same price.

The new beach bar in Estepona, exclusive and elitist atmosphere with great cocktails. If your budget is tight, it may not be the best choice. All chiringuitos in Estepona are expensive, but in this one you better have a look at the prices before ordering.

Central Beach
In the very heart of Estepona, right at the traffic circle of the Alborán building, we will find this glassed-in beach bar. The rice is good, the fish and seafood are also recommended, but the best are the espetos, made by an espetero (a man or woman who makes espetos) who does his or her job with love and always with a smile.
It may lack a couple of waiters to provide the best possible service but we still recommend it for a good mojito session.

Chiringuito par excellence of the summer concerts in Estepona. It changed its location due to neighborhood complaints about the noise caused by its legendary parties.

Elegant restaurant rather than a beach bar, very good cuisine and great menu in a beautiful and well-kept environment. Its specialties are Japanese and Mexican food. Outdoor swimming pool. It has easy parking and is highly recommended if you do not have any economic problems. If your budget is tight, look for another one
